Specialty Medications

Prima, formerly Kings, has been a specialty pharmacy for 70 years. We have the ability to serve patients across all of their specialty needs. No matter your prescription medication needs, we guarantee fast, reliable delivery.

Immune Globulin (IG) is a medication used to treat a wide range of autoimmune and neurological conditions. It may be administered intravenously (IVIG) or subcutaneously (SCIG). Prima can help with managing the process for at home infusion administration with our team of experienced nurses.

Biologic medications are used to manage many different inflammatory conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Psoriasis, and more. Prima offers a range of treatments including Humira, Enbrel, Remicade, Xeljanz, and more.

Following an organ transplant, patients are often put on various medications to suppress the immune system and prevent organ rejection. Prima’s transplant patients may receive their first order of medications prior to discharge from the hospital — this ensures a smooth transition of care and thorough medication counseling. We offer automatic monthly refills for transplant patients to avoid gaps in treatment, and stay in close contact with providers to adjust medication doses as needed.

Hemophilia, and other bleeding disorders, are genetic conditions that affect the clotting process. Prima guarantees timely delivery of infusion medications and supplies, and offers support for any questions. We can also provide nursing services for at-home infusions.

Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C is a viral infection that can affect the liver if left untreated. Treatment today consists of oral medication for 8 to 12 weeks. Prima’s Hepatitis C patients also receive monthly phone calls to make sure they take and finish their medication requirements.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus, or HIV, is a viral infection that can damage the immune system if not treated. Prima provides both traditional HIV medications and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) regimens. We also offer blister-packing for patients who may have difficulty with adherence, and monthly phone calls to ensure timely refills.

Medications and treatment plans for a cancer diagnosis are often complex. Prima offers a range of oncology medications depending on what’s prescribed by your doctor. Our staff is also well-versed in oncology treatments, and is available to answer any questions or concerns that may come up.
